Geneva was the daughter of John Sammuel Cockrell and Gertie Bailey.She was the youngest of fourteen children.She married Jarvis Clayton Batchelor and they were blessed with six children.They left North Carolina and moved to Florida in the mid 50's.Geneva And Jarvis divorced in the late 60's.Geneva marries Juventino Banda, in 1984,and they settled in Hardee County.Geneva was known as "polly" to family and friends.One son Anthony Charles Batchelor,preceeded her in death.She made the best German Chocolate Cake,and Chicken and Pasty.She was an expert in crocheting,her dollies was as delicate,as if a spider had spun the thread.
