"Killed by a Falling Log from a Telephone Pole"
"Dropped by a Lineman from a height of 60 Feet-Landed on the head of Harper Bast, Who Was Passing at the Time- His Death in Ten Minutes."
Deceased was born in Kutztown, and is survived by a brother Roger of that place; a brother Charles of Lebanon; and a sister Lillie of the West. His parents preceded him in death several years.
