Mrs. Vernon Bassett Of Milltown Passes July 19th Mrs. Annie Jewell Bassett, age 34, of Milltown, passed away at her home Friday, July 18 at 5 p.m. Mrs. Bassett is survived by her husband, Vernon Bassett; 3 sons, Vernon M., James Ray and Rodney Bassett, Milltown; 2 daughters, Gloria Dean and Belinda Bassett, Milltown; father, S. C. Crenshaw, Woodland; mother, Mrs. Lillie Mae Mosley, Semmes, Ala.; one brother, Quinton Crenshaw, U. S. Air Force. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, July 20, at 2 pjn. from the Mt. Carmel Church with Rev. Bill Spradlin and Rev. Jack Clegg officiating with burial in the church cemetery Quattlebaum's Brown Service Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
