Mrs Martha Bloss passed away Monday, Oct. 20, 1941 following an illness of 2 weeks. Daughter of Frank M. and Marcella Crandall Bassett, and was born in Independence May 8, 1866. Feb. 15, 1887, she was married to George N. Bloss. Mr Bloss died April 21, 1921. Sirviving are 2 daughters: Mrs Lawrence Hunt of Washington, DC and Mrs Mark Wilson of Whitesville; a sister Mrs Florence Bines of Andover. Funeral services Wednesday; burial in Independence Cemetery.
