Born in Pasadena, CA. Passed away in Modesto, CA.
Earl is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Betty Bass. Four children, Ken Bass of Alabama, Roger Bass of Alabama, Bonnie Crossland of Ripon and Tari Hilliard of Ripon. 9 grand children, 12 great grandchildren also survive him.
Earl retired from the Navy as a Medic corpsman & as an Industrial fireman at U.T.C.
He volunteered for the Red Cross, the Boy Scouts and was a member of the Odd Fellow Rebekah Lodge of Sonora, a member of the American Legion, and the Calvary Reformed Church.
Earl will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Visitation will be held at Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel on Wed. Nov. 19, 08 from 3 to 5 P.M. Services at Calvary Reform Church on Thurs. Nov. 20, 08 at 11 A.M.
Burial will be at San Joaquin National Cemetery on Fri. Nov. 21 at 1:30 P.M.
Arrangements under the direction of Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel.
