From the Athens Weekly Review Newspaper dated April 13, 1939 --- BURIAL FOR FRANKSTON RESIDENT AT POYNOR MONDAY MORNING

Burial rites for Mrs. Elizabeth Simpson, 66, of Frankston, who died at her home in that city Sunday morning at 7:30, were held at Poynor cemetery Monday morning at 11:00 o'clock.

Services were in charge of Rev. Roy MacLeod of Athens and Rev. A.E. Travis of Cleburne.

Mra. Simpson. a resident of Frankston for thirty-five years, died after a lengthy illness.

Surviving are one son, Bennett Simpson of Detroit, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Clyde Ellis of Frankston and Mrs. Perry V. Travis of Detroit; one brother, Frank Baskin of Poynor and five grandchildren.
