Mr. Frank James Baskin departed this life on February 18, 1978 at Borgess Hospital after a long illness. Mr. Baskin was born September 20, 1904 in Okolona, Mississippi, the son of George and Alice Baskin, He had been a resident of Kalamazoo for the past 37 years. He had been employed with the Hoffman Construction company before his retirement and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Surviving are; his wife, Callie; three daughters, Miss Teresa Dunigan and Peggie Dunigan, Both of Kalamazoo; Mrs. Oretha Johnson of Okolona, Mississippi; two sisters, Mrs. Synetta fields of one aunt, Mrs. Jennie Calloway of Chicago; five grandchildren, Angelo Thompson of Okolona, Mississippi; Ledesha, Latoyia, Ekimbrea, and Michale Dunigan all of Kalamazoo; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Service of memory was at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
