CLARION - Basil Eugene Bashline, 39, of 499 Little Turtle Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio, former Clarion resident, died at 9 a.m. Friday in Mariemont, Ohio, according to word received by relatives in this area. Mr. Bashline was employed as a machinist for the Mosler Safe and Loch Company in Cincinnati.

He was born in Clarion November 9, 1926, a son of George S. and Fern D, Lewis Bashline. Mr. Bashline was a veteran of World War II.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Alma Bashline; his father, George Bashline of Clarion RD 2; two daughters to a former marriage, Mrs. Lester Hensley and Miss Carol Bashline of Barstow, Calif.; two grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Virginia Plait, Mrs. Edith Reedy and Mrs.. Thomas Cramer of Clarion
RD 2 and Mrs Russell Stewart of New York Slate; and four brothers, Ronald and Gerald Bashline of Clarion RD 2 , Duane Bashline of Clarion RD and Arnold Bashline of Aurora, N.Y.

Removal will be made to the Goble Funeral Home in Clarion where friends may call after 7 p.m. Sunday and when funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday. Rev. H. L Henkel, pastor of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Clarion, will officiate. Interment will be in the Reidsburg Cemetery at Reidsburg,
