A. L. `Roy' Barwick, 73, of the Bethany community near Brinson, Ga., died Thursday in Bainbridge, Ga.
The service will be at 4 P.M. Saturday at Ivey Funeral Home in Bainbridge, with burial at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery in Brinson. Family will receive friends from 7 to 8 P.M. today at the funeral home.
A lifelong resident of Bethany, he had been a parts manager for several retail auto parts stores. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II and a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Maxie Barber Barwick of Brinson; four sons, Lee Barwick of Columbia, Md., David Barwick of Atlanta, and Johnny Barwick and Tripp Barwick, both of Brinson; a daughter, Dianna B. Cleveland of Bainbridge; two brothers, Mack Barwick of Bainbridge and Hugh Barwick of Tavares; and eight grandchildren.
ANTHONY LEROY BARWICK - He was the son of Archie Barwick,Sr and Myrtle Alice Nix. He married (1) Ruth Unknown. He married (2) Maxie Barber Dec 23, 1953, daughter of Joseph Barber and Gertie Griffin.
