Mable Boston Barton, age 93 of the Sonoraville community, departed this life on Wednesday, in the Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper.
Mable was the daughter of the late Henry Felton Boston and Kate Lou Porter Boston. Mable was also preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Tate Barton in 1960, a brother, Ford "Jack" Boston and a great-granddaughter, Tiffany Knight.
She is survived by her son, David Barton and his wife Patty; four daughters and son-in-law, Loretta Hicks, Janis Ward, Brenda and Bob Bates, Norma and James Ash.
