Mr. Huey P. Barton, age 72, of Winnfield, La., passed away Monday, July 10, 2006, at the Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, La.
He was the son of the late Robert Barton and the late Sarah (Cockerham) Barton. Mr. Barton was also preceded in death by eleven brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife Linda (Dunn) Barton of Winnfield, La.;
One Daughter, Tami Mattingly and husband Wesley of West Monroe, La.
Two Sons, Huey Steven Barton and wife Cindy of Winnfield, La. Michael Scott Barton and wife Dina of Atoka, Tenn.
Three Sisters, Clara Mae Goodson of Alexandria, La. Earline Meadows of Mooringsport, La. Huelene Price of Winnfield, La.
Two Brothers, Edward Barton of Chatham, La. Bobby Joe Barton of Idabel, Okla.
Five grandchildren
Graveside services will be held at Beech Creek Cemetery at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 11, 2006 , with Rev. Tom May officiating. Interment will be at Beech Creek Cemetery in Winn Parish, La., under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.
Scott Barton, Steve Barton, Chris Barton, Edward Barton, Jeremy Morgan, and Thomas Evans will serve as Pallbearers.
