Harlan Craig Barton, 90, husband of Willene Ray Barton, passed away Tuesday January 22, 2013 at the Johnson Mathers Nursing Home, Carlisle.

A native of Carlisle, KY, he was the son of the late John Barton and the late Sudie Bishop Gaunce. He was a retired welder and fabricator, a member of the Carlisle Christian Church, a United States Army Veteran of World War II and a 68 year plus member of the Amity Masonic Lodge #40 in Millersburg.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters and sons-in-laws, Carolyn "Sue" and Charles "Buddy" Feeback of TN and Becky and George Garrett of Carlisle; three sons and daughters-in-laws, Douglas and Trudy Barton of Carlisle, Rodney and Leeanne Barton of Paris and Tony and Kim Barton of FL; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by one brother, Herschel Barton and one sister, Edith Hardegen.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday January 25, 2013 at the Carlisle Christian Church242 N. Locust St., Carlisle, by the Rev. Jimmy Caswell and Chaplain David Holden. Burial will follow in the Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM Friday until the hour of service at the church.

Masonic Rites will be conducted at 11:30 AM Friday at the church.

Pallbearers will be Grandsons.

Honorary pallbearers will be William Osborne, Thelma Osborne, Franklin Caswell, Jaimie Davis, Farrell Alexander and members of the Amity Masonic Lodge #40 of Millersburg.
