Louise R. Amedeo, 89, of Exeter Twp., passed away November 25, 2011 in St. Joseph Medical Center where she was a patient since November 21st. She was the wife of Nuitzio P. Amedeo who passed away May 4, 2005. Born in Reading on December 20, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Louise (Stock) Barto.
Louise was employed as a seamer by Berkshire Knitting Mills for a number of years, then worked as an assembly line worker at Jacobs Aircraft in Pottstown during World War 2 and last worked as a seamer at Nolde and Horst Hosiery Mills. She was a member of St. Catharine of Siena RCC and its 50 Plus Club.
Surviving are a daughter Patricia A. (Amedeo) wife of Richard W. White of Exeter Twp. And a son Frank A. Amedeo of Bern Twp., 5 grandchildren, 8 great -grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by six sisters and one brother. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:30 AM in St. Catharine of Siena RCC, 4975 Boyertown Pike, Reading, PA 19606 by Msgr. Edward R. Domin. Friends and relatives will be received Wednesday 8:45 to 9:45 AM in Bean Funeral Home, 6 Fairlane Road, Exeter Twp. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
