Funeral Services for Mrs. Lavene Walden Bartley, 30, who died in an Indianapolis hospital Sunday, were held at the Tompkinsville Church of Christ Wednesday afternoon. Bro Jack Ray of Indianapolis officiated. Burial was at Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
Mrs. Bartley succumbed following an illness of four weeks. Her Husband J. C. Bartley is also a Monroe county native. They have one child, Terri Lyn who survives. Her parents Mr. and Mrs. Earl Walden of this county also survive.
Mrs. Bartley was an assistant underwriter in the office of the Gulf Insurance Co. at Indianapolis. She was a member of the Cedar Grove Church of Christ.
