Services are pending at Tims Funeral Home for Mary Hathaway, long time Altus resident, who died Sunday at Jackson County Memorial Hospital.

MARY BELL HATHAWAY, 89, died Sunday at Jackson County Memorial Hospital.

Services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday at Tims Chapel of Memories with the Rev. Don Sevedge officiating. Burial will be at Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

MRS. HATHAWAY, a twin, was born Sept. 19, 1898 in Tennessee. She married ANDREW PARKER in 1914 and they were the parents of one son.

On March 9, 1919, she was married to JAMES CARTER HATHAWAY at Rossville, Georgia, and they moved to the Altus area in 1921. He died June 4, 1949.

Survivors are two sons, CLARENCE PARKER, Tulsa; ALVIN HATHAWAY, Altus; four daughters, ELLEN STONE, Altus; BERTHA BENGE, Los Angelos, Calif.; LOIS DAY, Spur, Texas; HELEN TRAVIS, Snyder, Texas; a sister, MARTHA CHAPMAN, Moore; 18 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and three great-great- grandchildren.
