Mrs. Lillian Byrd Bartlett, 91 of Thomasville passed away at Pine Ridge Nursing Facility Wednesday, April 27, 2016.
Mrs. Bartlett was born July 19, 1924 to the late Baxter Fred Byrd and Lora Pruitt Byrd in Haywood County.
Lillian was a member of Hillside Park Baptist Church, which she loved very much and was faithful to each service. Lillian enjoyed reading, Crocheting, and thoroughly loved BINGO. Lillian was such a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and Friend.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Bartlett which passed away July 14, 1960, a daughter Patricia Gause, grandson Scott Williams, and four brothers, two sisters.
Surviving is one son Mike Bartlett and wife Billie Jean, five daughters, Sandy Rollins and husband Randy, Marilyn Myers and husband Charles, Nancy Kincaid and husband Bill, Donna Williams and husband Roger, Brenda Harrelson; one brother Jim Byrd and wife Rita; one sister Nancy Turbeville; ten grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, and a sister-in-law Peggy Byrd.
A Funeral Service will be held Friday, April 29, 2016 at 7:00 PM at Hillside Park Baptist Church. Interment will take place Saturday April 30, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery in Black Mountain, North Carolina.
