Kathleen (Shanks) Bartlett, d/o Robert Fain Shanks (1855-1936) & Anna "Annie" Anderson (1851-1919).

Funeral services for Mrs. Katherine Shanks Bartlett, 69, were held Sunday at the chapel of Whitson Funeral
Home with Rev. J. H. Robertson, officiating. Burial was in City Cemetery.
Mrs. Bartlett was the wife of Roscoe Franklin Bartlett. She died Friday morning at Baptist Hospital in Nashville after an illness of 2 weeks.
Mrs. Bartlett, daughter of Robert and Ann Shanks, was a native of Putnam Countian. She was a resident of Popular Grove Community and a member of P. G. Baptist Church.
Besides her husband she is survived by 3 sons, Cordell of Cookeville, Ned of Nashville, Walter K. of Cleveland, 7 daughters, Mrs. Wiley Bilbrey, Miss Hortense Bartlett of Cookeville, Mrs. A. P. Stone of Barberton, Ohio, Mrs. Burch Leftwich of Silver Point, Mrs. Willis Carter, Jr., of Boston, Mrs. C. L. Ward of Gallatin, Mrs. John Seely of Michigan, 2 brothers, Luke and Walter Shanks, and a sister, Mrs. Betty Prichett, all of Silver Point, and 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
