Alanson Douglass was the 1st child (son) of Heman Almon Bartholomew (1834-1922) and his wife Alice Lanta Douglass (1841-1921). Alanson married Mabel Estella Falkenbury (1873-1944) by whom he had at least one child: Victor Herbert Bartholomew (1895-1947).
