MRS. BALLARDS SERVICES HELD MONDAY
Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Ballard were held at the Minco Baptist Church, Monday, 2 p.m. July 7, 1958 with Rev. J.J. McDaniel, Hazel Dell Baptist church, officiating.
Pallbearers were Carl Wilson, Virgil Armstrong, Clarence Chappel, Bill Hale, Cleo Smith, Edward Humphrey.
Burial was in the Evergeen cemetery under the direction of Reynolds Funeral Home..
Mrs. Anna Ballard was born in Germany on October 18, 1877 and passed away after a long illness at an Oklahoma City hospital at the age of 80 on Saturday, July 5, 1958.
She came to the United States when she was a year old and moved to the Minco community in 1902.
She was a member of the Lutheran Church and also the Hazel Dell Home Demonstration Club.
Survivors include three sons, Howard Ballard, Minco, Everd Ballard, Oklahoma City and Harry Briscoe, Oklahoma City, two daughters, Mrs. Imogene Jobe, Chickasha and Mrs. Ruth Thompson, Oklahoma city; one sister, Mrs. Mattie Musgraves, Ardmore; two brothers, John Bartell, Alva and Bill Bartell, Omaha; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
