"Daniel Barrow Succumbs at 81.

Daniel E. Barrow, 81, of 610 S. Prince St., was dead on arrival at St. Joseph's Hospital about 3 p.m. Thursday after he had became seriously ill at home.

The husband of Mae I. Keller Barrow, he was born in Conowingo, Md., and retired in 1957 after 47 years as a signal maintainer with the Pennsylvania Railroad. He was employed later as a night watchman with Posey Ironworks for five years.

MARRIED 54 YEARS.

Barrow was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen. He and Mrs. Barrow celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary on October 2, 1969.

In addition to his wife at home, he is survived by six sons and daughters; Donald E., Dundalk, Md.; Mrs. Gladys Miller, Levern K., Carl R., Jean R., wife of John H. Sherlock; and Doris H., wife of Edward P. Mongeau, all of Lancaster; 11 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a brother, Earl Barrow, Downingtown, Pa., and a sister, Olla, wife of Granville Riley, Rising Sun, Md."
