Anna Collier Barron, wife of William Nathaniel Gale Barron, was originally buried in Barron Cemetery near the intersection of Alt US 58 and State Road 709. When the new 4 lane was built, Anna and her husband's graves were moved to Glencoe Cemetery in Big Stone Gap, VA where they now have markers along with some others whose graves were moved there.

The Barron farm and property was in Lee County, Virginia, and was listed in the 1870 census there in Yocum Station Township and Jonesville, VA was the post office. If you have an Ancestry account you can see more details at this link: History of the Barron Family

Some family records showed this information:

Let me know if you have any information or corrections. Horton family gives her birth year as 1805 but gives no specific date. The 1804 date listed is also shown in an article about the Barrons published by the Lee County Historical Society in the title - Bicentennial History of Lee County Virginia 1792-1992

Anna is from the Aaron Collier side of the southwest Virginia Collier families.
