Mr. Albert James Barron, age 71, of Montezuma, Georgia passed Monday morning, February 23, 2009.

Funeral services were conducted 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 27, 2009 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Walnut Street, Montezuma, Georgia. Interment followed in Champ Waters Cemetery, Twin Church Road, Montezuma, Georgia.

Albert James Barron the son the late Emma Lou Barron was born August 8, 1937 in Byromville, Dooly County, Georgia. He was educated in the public school system of Dooly County. He dedicated himself to to Jehovah God by water baptism in 1967. He was affectionately known as "Unc", "Mr. Albert" and "Uncle Bae." Albert was an electrician by trade and was known in Montezuma as the "handy man."



He was united in holy matrimony to Willie Mae McDonald on August 19, 1961 who preceded him in death on June 22, 1974. To this union, they were blessed with four children. On August 13, 1977, he was united in holy matrimony to Helen McClendon Barron and to this union, they were blessed with two children. He was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.



He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Helen M. Barron; five daughters, Retha Ballestracci (Myles), Christene Gary, Lesa Bodine, Debbie Johnson (Johnnie), and Cyndria Barron; one son, Vernon McClendon; five grandchildren, Cornelius Ballestracci, Demetrius Ballestracci, Clarissa Gary-Tinker (Matthew), Andronicus Ballestracci and Charles Gary, Jr.; two sisters, Mary Reed (Leon), Nancy Kaigler; two brothers, Edward Barron (Marlene), Ernest Hardwick (Ada Mae), as well as sisters-in-law, Hattie Hubbard (Frank), Louise Baldwin and Emogene McDonald; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
