Funeral services for Edna E. Barrick, 88, of 1020 Enola Road, Newburg, will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in Newburg First Church of God, 260 Newburg Road, Newburg.
She died Saturday, March 20, 1999 in the Church of God Home, Carlisle.
Born Dec. 9, 1910 in Hardy County, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late Frank and Cora Wilkins Heishman and the widow of Emory E. Barrick, who died March 15, 1981.
During World War II, she worked at C.H. Masland, Carlisle. She also worked at the Beistle Co., Shippensburg and Johnnie's Restaurant, Newburg.
She was a member of Newburg First Church of God, where she was a member of the Progressive Sunday School class, the Jolly Sixties and a former Sunday school teacher.
Mrs. Barrick is survived by three daughters, Esther M. Cohick of Carlisle, Ruby S. Fortna of Lurgan Township and Opal B. Grove of Newburg; two sisters, Ruby Hulver of Winchester, Va. and Mildred James of Carlisle; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
The Rev. Michael S. Smith will officiate at services. Burial will be in Newville Cemetery, Newville.
Friends may call Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, 112 W. King St., Shippensburg.
