Ray served two years in the U.S. Army, in Germany, then graduated from Texas Tech University with an Industrial Engineering degree. In Lubbock he was employed with Litton Industries, then at Hughes Aircraft in Tucson, AZ. Ray was retired, living in Lubbock.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Janet Barrett; three children, and spouses: Bennett and Janet, Kenneth, and Sara and James Neill; six surviving grandchildren, and spouse: Stephinie and Terio Bost, Lauren Findley, Melissa Findley, Elise, Timothy and Raechel; nephews, nieces; and other family - you know.
