Mr. Wayne Barrett, 51, died Wednesday, January 9, 2008, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. today at Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Forest with burial in High Hill Baptist Cemetery in Sebastopol. Rev. Josh Meadows will officiate.
Mr. Barrett was a native of Sebastopol and had been a resident of Pearl.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Barrett and his brother, Mike Barrett.
Survivors include his mother, Bobbie Herrington of Pearl; daughter, Lachae Jones and husband, Brandon of Sebastopol; son, B.J. Barrett of Sebastopol; three aunts, Pauline Barrett of Forest, Earline Hurtt of Forest and Frances Strickland of Union; one uncle, James Herrington of Union; two grandchildren, Devin and Brylee Jones of Sebastopol; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
