Charlie Mae Moss, 84 of Little Rock, died on Saturday, February 11, 2012 in Little Rock. She was born on September 1, 1927 in Memphis, Tennessee to Charlie Barrett and Lillie Mae Ellison –Barrett.Charlie was a retired hair dresser, who over the years worked in cosmetology, and various factory jobs. Charlie enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and home-making. She faithfully served as one of Jehovah's Witnesses since 1971. She happily volunteered as a pioneer minister in both English and American Sign Language for thirty years.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of sixty-four years Henry Moss, a son Larry Moss, a grandaughter Kim Moss-Butler, two sisters Margaret Ann Barrett and Betty Jean Barrett, one brother James Barrett and her parents.

Survivors include two grandchildren Lisa Rankin and Larry Russell Moss; seven great-grandchildren; a niece Beverly Ellison and nephew Charlie Ellison; sisters –in-law Julia Moss-Froman and Vivian Moss-Holley, brothers –in-law Bob Moss, Lindy Moss, and Darryl Moss and a few very close friends that assisted in her care Demetra Brown, Beth Bourgeois, and Imogene Benton as well as a very large spiritual family.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, February 16, 2012 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on 2119 S. Wolfe, Little Rock, Arkansas. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Alexander.
