Injured By His Horse; Died
Capt. A. McD. MíC. Barrett Succumbs In Washington Hospital
Captain Alexander McD. McC. Barrett, brother of Major Henry S. Barrett, formerly of the One Hundred and Fifteenth Infantry, died yesterday morning at Walter Reed Hospital, Washington, D.C., from injuries received when his horse fell on him some months ago at Fort Bliss, Texas.
Captain Barrett was a member of the Cavalry of the regular Army and was the son of Captain Gregory Barrett, who was killed at San Juan Hill during the Spanish-American War. He was born at Fort McDevitt, Texas in 1878.
Besides Major Barrett, Captain Barrett is survived by his widow, Mrs. Victoria Barrett; two children, Mrs. Florence E. Mills and Mrs. Julia Littell, wife of Brigadier General Littell and by another brother, Frederick R. Barrett. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon in Washington and he will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
