Angel Barreras, 76 years, went home to our heavenly Lord on August 15, 2001. He was born May 27, 1925 in Vail, AZ. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp. Retired after 40 years from Tanner Sand and Gravel Co. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Elda Yolanda Barreras; daughters, Dolores (Frank) Aguilar, Cecilia Barreras and Debbie Morales; sons, Paul (Bonnie), Danny (Cindy) of Las Vegas, Nevada, Joey (Elsie), Francisco, Michael (Anna) and Martin (Raquel), all of Tucson, AZ. He was blessed with 25 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Lorenzo and William; sister, Margaret Oros. Preceded in death by parents, Angel and Lupe Barreras; brothers, Clemente "Chapo" and Robert; sister, Armida Tippett. His greatest accomplishment on this earth was his family whom will someday be with him again. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 24, 2001 from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY (South Chapel), 240 S. Stone Ave., with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered on Saturday, August 25, 2001, 10:00 a.m. at St. Margaret's Church, 801 N. Grande Ave. Interment to follow at Leon Cemetery in Vail, Arizona. Arrangements by CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY, INC.
