Anna M. Barr, 91, a former longtime Outlook community resident, died Tuesday in Kennewick General Hospital. She was born in Iowa. She later moved to Colorado where she taught school.
She married Ralph E. Barr in 1912 in Hugo, Colo. They moved to the Outlook community in 1942 where they farmed for 33 years. After retiring in 1975, they moved to Zillah.
Her husband Ralph died in 1976. For the past four years she has lived in Kennewick. She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by son Cliff Barr in 1980. Survivors include sons Merle Barr, Kennewick, Albert Barr, Sunnyside, Glenn Barr, Yakima and James Barr, Vancouver; daughters Mrs. James (Norma) Krieger, Zillah and Arlene Barr, Yakima; sister Mary Walters, California; 17 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Friday in the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside. Burial will be in the Lower Valley Memorial Gardens, Sunnyside.
