Adrian Gordon Barr, 84, of Graham, N.C., died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007, at Burlington, N.C.
He was born March 25, 1923, in Carroll County to Will and Elsie Allen Barr.
Survivors include his wife, Argent Hendricks Barr of the home; a son, Grady Charles Barr of Joppa, Md.; two sisters, Jewell Reynolds of Galax and Lucy Denton of Bristol; one brother and sister-in-law, B.H. Jr. and Kay Melton of Warwick, R.I.; and several nieces, nephews and close friends.
A funeral was held Sunday at Hillcrest Baptist Church, Galax, with the Rev. James Cowley officiating. Burial followed in Phillips Cemetery.
Reese Funeral Home, Austinville, was in charge of arrangements.
