Mrs. Mary Theresa Barr, a greatly beloved lady, wife of S. V. Barr, of Rimersburg, passed away at her home June 21, 1929, after an illness often days.
The deceased was a quiet, modest, reserved and retiring person, but was a most devout and loving Christian woman.
She is survived by her husband S. V. Barr, who is a well known business man of Rimersburg.
She also leaves to mourn Mrs. Ralph Hawk, who made her home with the Barrs; also five brothers and three sisters, namely: Joseph Mortimer, Washington, Pa.; Silas Mortimer and Willis Mortimer, of near Lawsonham; McClain Mortimer, of Van; Alson Mortimer, of Rimersburg; Mrs. Elizabeth Bain of Lawsonham; Mrs. Jacob Traister, Rimersburg; Mrs. J. W. Scott, Sandy Hollow.
Her funeral took place Monday, June 24th.
