RACINE - Anna (nee: DiSalvo) Baron passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2006, at St. Luke's Medical Center, Milwaukee. Anna was born in Chicago, Ill., daughter of the late Ciro and Mary (nee: Fasso) DiSalvo. Anna was married to Carl P. Baron for 58 years. Together they owned West Lawn Memorial Park from 1979 until 1992. Anna was a member of St. Lucy Catholic Church. For many years, she quietly supported many churches and food pantries. Above all, she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and will be dearly missed. Surviving are her husband, Carl; her daughters, Carol Rogers of Island Lake, Ill., Roseann (William) Ogden of Sturtevant; her grandchildren, Matthew and Sarah Ogden; a sister, Mary Falbo of Oak Brook Terrace, Ill.; a brother, Casimir (Betty) DiSalvo of Deltona, Fla.; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Antoinette (Antonio) Centanni of Elk Grove Village, Ill., Frances Shambro of Chicago, Ill., Josephine Richards of Hemet, Calif., Paul (Patricia) Rufolo of Huntley, Ill.; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ciro. In keeping with Anna's wishes, private services were held with interment at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville, Ill. Memorials to St. Jude's Children's Hospital have been suggested. The Baron family would like very much to acknowledge the tender loving care administered to Anna during her stay at St. Luke's, especially the SICU staff.
