Funeral services for Barbara Jane Barnhill, 49, of Natchitoches were
held
Tuesday, July 13 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Blanchard-St. Denis funeral
Home with the Revs. Mike Honzel and Barney Barnhill officiating. Burial
followed in Pisgah Cemetery in Marthaville.
Mrs. Barnhill died Sunday, July 11, 1999 at her residence.
She was a native of Ft. Hood, Texas.
Mrs. Barnhill was a member of the Westside Baptist Church in
Natchitoches.
At the time of her death, she was assistant branch manager of the Bank of
Montgomery in Derry. She was the former office manager for the CPA firm of
Hines, Jackson & Hines in Natchitoches. She was also a loving and caring
mother, daughter and sister. She was a 1968 graduate of Robeline High
School where she was the valedictorian of her class.
Survivors include her daughter, Monica Lambert of Natchitoches; her
mother
and step-father, Mrs. Peggy and Nelson Maricelli of Natchitoches; and two
sisters, Jeannie Curtis and Judy Broadway, both of Many.
Pallbearers were Scott Broadway, Brett Broadway, Bobby King, Steve
Caldwell, James Synder, Ken Hale, Jerry Brungart and Lewis Hines.
