WOMAN AT AULT IS ACCIDENTALLY SHOT DEAD BY HER HUSBAND WHEN RIFLE HE IS CLEANING GOES OFF Ault,
Nov. 19. -- Mrs. Maude Andrews, aged 51, was accidentally shot and killed by her husband at their home here at 1:20 o'clock this afternoon. He was cleaning a 22-caliber rifle when it was discharged, the bullet just missing Mrs. Andrews' mother, Mrs. L. M. Barnhart, and going into Mrs. Andrews' head above the right eye and lodging near the left ear. She died almost instantly in her husband's arms, where Dr. McCain and Marshall Tegtman found her. She is survived by her mother, a son, William, school mechanic, and an adopted daughter, Elizabeth, aged 16.

Funeral of Victim of Accidential Shot Awaits Relatives
Funeral services for Mrs. Maude Andrews, Ault woman, who was killed Monday afternoon when a gun in the hands of her husband, Elmer C. Andrews, was accidentally discharged, will not be completed until relatives in the east have been heard from.
Mrs. Andrews was 52 years old. She was born at Windsor, Ill., Nov 3, 1877 and married Mr. Andrews June 19, 1899. Mrs. Andrews has been a resident of Ault for 22 years. She was a member of the Christian church of the Royal Neighbors and the W. C. T. U.
Mrs. Andrews is survived by her husband and by two children, William and Elizabeth Andrews. Her mother, Mrs. L. M. Barnhart, lives in Ault. A sister, Mrs Essa Rankin and two brothers, Vance and Tine Barnhart live at Windsor, Ill.

ACCIDENTAL DISCHARGE OF HUSBAND'S RIFLE KILLS WOMAN AT AULT
Mrs. Maude Andrews, aged 51 of Ault, Colorado was accidentally shot and killed by her husband at their home Monday afternoon, Nov 19. Her husband was cleaning a 22 calbre rifle when it discharged. The bullet barley missed Mrs. Andrew's mother, Mrs. L. M. Barnhart and entered Mrs. Andrew's head above the right eye lodgeing near the left ear. She died almost instantly in her husband's arms where officers found her. Funeral services for Mrs. Andrews are to be held at the Congregational church of Ault Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock W. J. Kline will officiate and interment will be in the Eaton cemetery.
