Pauline Baker, 60, Bismarck, died April 2, 2006, in a Bismarck hospital.
Pauline was born May 22, 1945, to George and Josephine (Fix) Barnhardt, Center. She attended and graduated from Center High School in 1963.
After graduation, she was a cook and manager at the VFW for 25 years.
She married Richard Baker on Aug. 9, 2002, in Portland, Ore.
She is survived by her husband, Richard; one son, Mark (Tammy) Hemming, West Fargo; one daughter, Melissa (Tim) Rhoades, Gresham, Ore.; five grandchildren, Courtney, Derek, Holli, April and Austin; two sisters; Dorothy Wetsch, St. Anthony, and Tilly (Bernie) Thompson, Pick City; two brothers, Donald (Kathy) Barnhardt, Mandan, and Raymond (Peggy) Barnhardt, Steele; and special aunt and uncle, Gene and Eva Kramer.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Michelle; and her parents.
