Eunice Barnett, 83, of Ringgold, died Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at her home. Born March 4, 1931, a native of Kentucky, came to live in North Georgia in 1956. She is the daughter of the late Foster and Margaret Barton and is preceded in death by brother and sisters: Frank, Tommy, Denver, Jay and Joyce and Bobby Jean.

Eunice was employed for many years at the BASF Corpor. In the accounting department. After Suffering for many months from her afflictions, it is over, for she has now entered into that sweet peace with her Lord. She is sorely missed.

Eunice was of the Baptist faith, saved as a little girl at Willow Grove Baptist Church in LeJunion, KY, and was a member of the Burning Bush Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband: Dempsey, Barnett; and two sons: Phillip and Victor (Hally) Barnett and three sisters: Mary Alice, Francis Ann and Peggy, of Kansas City, Kansas, and a granddaughter: Kiesha.

The Family wished to thank Life Choice Hospice, and especially caregivers Tina Cox and Marie Powell for their thoughtful, caring service. Memorial Contribution may be made to Life Choice Hospice, 106 Pearl Dr., Suite 107, LaFayette, GA 30728.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Marv Askew and Rev. David Clay officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Friday at Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
