Arlene Mae Barnett 73, of Crosby, Texas went to be with the Lord on June 9, 2010 in Baytown, Texas. Arlene was born on March 7, 1937 in Bellingham, Washington to Chester and Bernice (Hopkins) Carlson.
Arlene spent most of her time taking care of her children and grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting, quilting, bingo, fishing with her husband, mowing the grass and cooking for the family. Arlene was a very loving , caring and giving woman who never met a stranger and she will be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Bernice Carlson and stepmother, Ida Carlson.
Arlene is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Hubert Barnett; daughter, Teresa Lampasas; daughter, Cindy Patrick and husband Raymond; daughter, Evey Monroe; son, Chester Barnett and wife Sally; grandchildren, Chris, Mike, Vicki, Crystal, Matthew, John, Cody, Colton; great grandchildren, Hannah, Luke, Emma, and many other relatives and friends.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, June 11, 2010 from 5-8pm at Sterling-White Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2010 10am at Sterling-White Funeral Home with burial following at Sterling-White Cemetery.
