Winnie D Bovinton was the fifth child of Albert and Nellie Bovington(Nee Mayhew). Winnie's birth was registered at Willesden. In 1946 Winnie married John Philip Parry he died on the Gold Coast shortly after they were married. She trained to become a nurse she then met and married Henry B Barnes in 1958 at Bournemouth. In 2001 Winnie went into Avon Reach Nursing Home where she stayed until her death on 15th January 2007 she was buried with her husband Henry on 26th January 2007 at Bournemouth Cemetery.
