Mrs. Stella Barnes Dunn, widow of Lewis Owen Barnes who died in 1935, passed away January 16, 1975 at Ridgeview Nursing Home. Her home was in Covington; she also owned a farm on Barnes Pike in Grant County. She was the daughter of the late Asa and Emonia Frakes Ashcraft, and was preceded in death by one son, William, who died in 1928. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Latonia. Survivors are two nieces and two nephews: Mrs. Evelyn Clark, Cincinnati, Mrs. Elnora Walker, Covington, John McKnight, Independence and Robert Ashcraft of Covington. Bearers were Glenmore Bennett, Herbert Caldwell, Alton Woodyard, Myron McKnight, Mike Stanley and Dennis Stanley. Burial in Williamstown Cemetery, Williamstown, KY.
