Marguerite Barnes Ginn, 75, died March 28 at Tara of Thunderbolt. She was born in Bulloch County and had lived in Brooklet prior to moving to Savannah many years ago. She was a member of Thunderbolt Baptist Church where she was a member of the Ladies Missionary Society and Work and Grow Sunday School Class. She was a former member of the Altrusa Club and had formerly worked as a stenographer with the Central of Georgia Hospital. She worked with Earl Ginn's Restaurant on Skidaway Road and was retired from Custom Cleaners.
SURVIVORS: her husband, James Earl Ginn of Savannah; three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert E. and Judith Ginn and Daniel E. Ginn, all of Savannah and James Frederick and Bonnie Ginn of Guyton; a brother, John C. Barnes of Daytona Beach, Fla.; a sister, Bertie Rotureau of Chattanooga, Tenn; six grandchildren, James R. Ginn and Deborah Phillips, both of Savannah, Karen Bedford of Phoenix, Ariz., Lacy Ginn, Becky West and Matt Bridges, all of Guyton; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. today at Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Thunderbolt Baptist Church, burial in Eastside Cemetery in Statesboro.
