Mariette Barnes was born in Leyden, Lewis Co., NY, Jan. 30, 1829. She was married to Vernon Arbuckle Dec. 9th, 1848 at Oswego, Kendale Co., IL. Died August 9th, 1900 at her home in Arlington having reached the ripe age of 71 years, 6 months, 9 days.

Mr. Arbuckle wishes us to extend his thanks to all friends who so kindly assisted him during all his recent trouble.
