Minnie L. Barnes of Lindale, GA (formerly of Marietta, GA) died Thursday, January 23, 2014.
A graveside service will be 1PM Monday, January 27th at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park with Rev. Barry Dollar officiating.
Ms. Barnes worked at Lockheed for 36 years as at blue print control clerk before retiring. She was a member of Central Baptist Church.
Ms. Barnes was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Sanders.
Ms. Barnes is survived by her son, Jeffrey "Buddy" M. Barnes of Lindale, GA; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Lawhorn of Rainsville, AL; sister, Ellen Murphy of Sylacauga, AL; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 4 - 6PM Sunday, January 26th at the Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta (770) 424-4924.
