Debora Sue Barnes, 52, of Parkersburg, died January 20, 2010 after injuries she received December 8th, 2009 from an auto/pedestrian accident. She was born January 17, 1958 in Parkersburg a daughter of Dorothy E. Wilson of Parkersburg and the late George Garland Wilson. She graduated from Parkersburg South High School Class of 1976 and was employed at St. Joseph's Hospital for 30 years, where she was still employed. She is survived by her husband, Terry Lee Barnes, who she married August 25, 1979; one son, Eric Lee (Brenda) Barnes of Parkersburg; two daughters, Elizabeth Ann (Mike)Thomas, Emily Renea Barnes all of Parkersburg; two grandsons, Hayden Thomas and Levi Barnes; two granddaughters, Ashley and Sarah Beth Barnes; two brothers, George G. (Sharon) Wilson, Jr. of Parkersburg, Richard H. (Charlene) Wilson of Mineral Wells; two sisters, Sandra (Rick) Matheny of Belpre, Lois (Gary) Walton of Parkersburg; several nieces and nephews. Services will be Monday 1:00 pm at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Tim Burch officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
