Our beloved son and brother departed this life on Sunday evening May 21, 1978. Earl Costello Barnes was born on May 31, 1957 in Lunenburg County, VA. He was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church- Kenbridge, VA.

Left to mourn: mother, Mrs. Alease Locust Barnes of Kenbridge, VA; father, Mr. Robert Barnes of Victoria, VA; three sisters: Mrs. Mary Alice Camil of Jersey City, Mrs. Synobia Hazelwood of Kenbridge, VA, Mrs. Dora Booth of Washington, DC; four brothers: Mr. John Barnes of Washington, DC; Mr. Charles and Rosco Barnes of Kenbridge, VA; Mr. Daniel Deberry of South Hill, VA; three brothers-in-law, three nieces, three nephews; two aunts and uncles: Mr. & Mrs. Eugene Baker and Mr. & Mrs. Sarah Morton of Baltimore, MD; four great aunts, two great uncles; a close friend of the family, Mr. Johnny Parker; a host of relatives and friends.
