Coats Rites For Barnes Child
Funeral services were conducted Monday morning at 10 o'clock from the Coat Baptist Church for three year old David Thomas Barnes, with Rev, Virgil Davis officiating, assisted by Rev. T. A. Dukes.
David's mother preceded him in death almost a year ago.
David passed away in a Jackson hospital Saturday, following an extended illness.
Survivors include his father, Lavelle Barnes, Magee; one sister, Elsie Pearl Barnes; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Alice Barnes; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Williamson.
Interment was made in the Goodwater cemetery, with the Mims Mitchell Funeral Home in charge.
