Daughter of Matthew and Julia (Foley) Diggins

Depending on the census, Bridget stated she arrived in 1894 (1910) or 1897 (1930) or 1907 (1920). If she arrived in 1894 or 1897, she came as a child. She could not be located in the 1900 census; perhaps the family returned to Ireland.

She did leave Queenstown on board the Saxonia on 3 April 1907 and arrived in Boston on 12 April 1907. She paid for the passage herself, had been in the US before, and was going to her cousin, Mollie Murphy at 76 Crescent Street, Northampton.

When Thomas was naturalized in 1913, she also was naturalized.
