Deceased Name: DENVER - Mr. Robert Elee Barnes 78 of 6670 Denver Heights Circle in Denver, died Monday, May 17, 1999 at Lincoln Medical Center. His funeral will be 4:00 p.m. Friday in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William A. Carrier and Rev. Fred Steelman officiating. Burial will follow with a DAV graveside service at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Barnes was born on March 24, 1921 to the late Robert and Martha Jane Sisk Barnes. He served as a WWII Army Veteran and retired from Duke Power Company. Mr. Barnes was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Hickory.
Survivors are his wife, Marsha Coffey Barnes of the home; and others
Warlick Funeral Home is serving the family of Mr. Barnes.
