Harry Otis the son of Anderson and Isabelle Rafferty Barnard. Husband of LuLu and father of Bernice. Brother of Eugene, Mrs.Francis Jane Barnard Franklin (James) of Umatilla, OR, Irene, Maude and Mary. He was a barber and died of Peritonitis. Source information from Mo. Death Cert., Census and family records. Obit: March 19, 1918--Barnard--Harry Otis Barnard, 43 years old, died at 7 o'clock last night in his home at Carl Junction. His wife, and daughter, a stepson, his father, two brothers and four sisters survive. Miss Okle Barnard is the daughter. Floyd Snyder is a stepson. His father, Anderson Barnard, lives at Mountain Grove, Mo. The brothers are Eugene Barnard and Minor Barnard, both of Carl Junction. The sisters are Mrs. F. Franklin, Pendleton, Ore.; Mrs. Irene Kawl, Cole Springs, Mo.; Mrs. Maude King, Dewey, Okla.; Mrs. Mary Rowland, Koweta, Okla. Definite funeral arrangements have not been made, but services probably will be conducted from the Baptist church in Carl Junction at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Burial will be in Carl Junction Cemetery.
