Carl Alfred Barlow, born in Thomas County Kansas on May 15, 1900, passed away in Washougal, Washington, April 27, 1984. Burial was at Washougal City Cemetery.
Carl arrived in Ione, Oregon by immigrant train at the age of three with his parents Mary and William Barlow.
The family lived in Gooseberry and Eightmile area near Ione and attended schools at Fairview and Ione.
At one time Carl Barlow worked for Harry French on the French Ranch near Hardman and at the Greener Sawmill.
Carl joined the Odd Fellow lodge in 1921.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Leola Barlow, Washougal; three grandchildren, Brenda Matson, Traci Barlow and Brian Barlow, and one great grandchild, Heather Matson.
