Douglas Wayne Barlow passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 2, 2008 while in the care of his loving wife Kay. Doug was born on November 10, 1939 to Albert & Kate Barlow. He was dearly loved by his 33 brothers and sisters, five children; Douglas Todd (deceased), Heidi (Joe), Shane (Teresa), Jade (Dana), Cherie (Paul), his 13 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, four step-children, and his many friends. Doug was proud of his heritage, his big family, and loved spending time with them. Doug loved sports, especially football. He's been a devoted Ute fan holding season tickets for 25 years. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2008, from 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State St., Murray, and again on Thursday February 7, 11-12 p.m. at Mt. Jordan 3rd Ward, 8960 South 300 East, Sandy, prior to services at 12:00. Interment at Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road.
